Some will tell you it is what it is. CIF says it’s legal so therefore it’s legal. If I want to hold my child back and I’m not breaking any rules then I’m going to do it, say some. Maybe there will come a day when everyone does it, then what? What will happen then? Will another rule need to be exploited? Is it exploitation? Do parent’s holdback their kids for their own selfish interests? Oh, sooo many questions.  Is it true that more High School records are being broken because of holdbacks, or is it just the way the cycle works? Speak now or forever hold your piece!
