Teams from Arizona, Nevada, and Northern California will be participating in this event.
Girls Divisions: 4th grade – 5th grade – 6th grade 7th grade – 8th grade.

Welcome to the SGV Invitational, the largest and most prestigious youth club tournament on the West Coast, held over President’s Day weekend of February 13, 14, & 15, 2010. We expect over 250 teams this year!
Over 95% of last year’s teams responded to our First Call. We have a couple spots remaining in each division. Girls Divisions are almost sold out! Please respond ASAP.
You will see teams from Arizona, Bakersfield, Canada, Hawaii, Las Vegas, New Mexico, Sacramento, Santa Barbara, San Diego, San Francisco, Santa Maria, Seattle, Stockton, Texas, Tucson, and the top teams from California. ALL teams MUST be registered online to be eligible.

• The tournament is open to boys' 9U through 17U teams. Unsigned seniors are welcome!
• Teams from across Texas (Houston, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, El Paso) and Louisiana have committed to attend.
• Live period for men's D2, D3, NAIA, & JUCO coaches.
• All Houston Hoops teams will participate in this event, drawing the attention of scouts nationwide and giving your team a chance to play against the best!
• Games played at the top gyms in town - headquarters will be the state-of-the-art 4-wood court Legends Sports Complex in The Woodlands. We will also use The Gym in Humble (3-courts), and other top school gyms in the area.
• Three game guarantee. Pool play with all teams advancing to the championship round.
• Normal high school rules with stop clock on all dead balls for all age goups.

IMPACT BASKETBALL INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
For Boys & Girls – JULY 17 & 18
Tournament Format – Saturday each team will play two pool play games & on Sunday bracket play will begin. Saturday’s pool play games are used to seed the teams for Sunday. Regardless of your Saturday results you still qualify to play for the championship on Sunday.
All games will be stopped clock; 14 minute halves for the 9u through 12u divisions & below and 16 minute halves for 13u through High School divisions.

If we are a HS team what are the NCAA requirements to be certified as players and coaches?
The NCAA made it mandatory that all coaches participating in coaching activities at an NCAA certified event must be approved prior to participating in that event through the NCAA Coaches Approval Program. To fill out the online application, you will need the following: access to the internet current knowledge regarding the NCAA basketball certification rules a valid credit card that can be used to pay for the application process? and a current email address. The approval process for coaches takes more than 1 week to process and the NCAA charges $40 for each member on your staff. Once you are approved you are cleared to be on the sidelines for two full years. When filling out the Swoosh coaches registration page you will need to enter your NCAA approval number in the field marked Coaches Approval Number.
All coaches must also register their teams with the NCAA, which includes coaches' information roster and all events that your team will be attending. This information must be checked off in order for you to participate in any open viewing evaluation event.
Since this is an NCAA certified event all teams must follow these following steps. All teams and coaches must be certified for this event.
This link (http://web1.ncaa.org/BBCS/exec/login) will take you to the Basketball Certification System. Click the button that says “New Activity Operator or Coach”. Here you will need to create your account including a username and password. Once you have finished, click the save button. Click “Coach” when the next page opens and then “Create Activity” on the following page. You will enter all the information regarding coaches here.
In addition, a background check must be conducted. There is a $40 fee to apply and a 10 question test which you must get 7 questions correct to pass. Once you pass the background check, you will be assigned a coaches approval number which will allow you to coach in NCAA certified events.

HAX West Coast Challenge that will be held at the HAX basketball training facility in Hawthorne, CA July 27-30.

Simi Valley Tipoff Classic 2010 Turns 25!
Dear Coaches:
We are currently looking for a few teams to complete our field of 16 for our 2010 Simi Valley Varsity Tipoff Classic. For 25 years we have run a high-quality competitive tournament that includes a variety of teams from Ventura and Los Angeles Counties and most recently have added teams beyond.
In addition, this year our tournament will be played on our newly designed and painted floor being installed this summer!
If you are interested please contact me as soon as possible! All players will receive a T-Shirt and the tourney is a four game guarantee for $450.
